Rufus Alexander Returns to Oklahoma Sooners as New National Offensive Director
Former Oklahoma Sooners football star, Rufus Alexander, is making his return to Norman in a new leadership role. The Oklahoma football program announced that Alexander, known for his standout career as a linebacker for the Sooners in the early 2000s, will rejoin the team as the new National Offensive Director.
Alexander, who played for the Sooners from 2002 to 2006, was a key defensive leader during a period of sustained success for the program under head coach Bob Stoops.
