Sophomore guard Gabe Cupps entered the transfer portal after a season marred by injury. He appeared in only four games before undergoing knee surgery, which sidelined him for the remainder of the season. 3. Jakai Newton
Redshirt freshman guard Jakai Newton also opted to transfer after limited playing time due to a knee injury sustained during his senior year of high school. Newton participated in only a handful of games during the 2024–25 season. Despite the setbacks, he remains a promising talent with four years of eligibility remaining, assuming he receives a medical redshirt.
