
Netflix has officially announced the release date for its highly anticipated documentary honoring the life and legacy of legendary Florida State Seminoles head coach Bobby Bowden. The emotional tribute series, titled Bowden: Faith, Family, Football, will premiere on July 15, offering fans an intimate look at one of college football’s most iconic figures.
The multi-part documentary will chronicle Bowden’s extraordinary journey from humble beginnings in Alabama to becoming one of the winningest coaches in NCAA history. Featuring never-before-seen footage, exclusive interviews with former players, coaches, family members, and notable sports figures, the series promises a heartfelt portrayal of Bowden’s enduring impact on the game—and on the lives of countless young men he mentored.
Bowden, who passed away in 2021 at the age of 91, led the Florida State Seminoles for 34 seasons, amassing 304 wins and two national championships. Known not only for his coaching prowess but also for his deep-rooted faith, integrity, and dedication to developing character in his players, Bowden became a beloved figure both in Tallahassee and nationwide.
