Karlyn Pickens Named Tennessee Volunteers Softball MVP, Receives Prestigious Honor

 

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — In a thrilling capstone to an outstanding season, Karlyn Pickens has been officially recognized as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Tennessee Volunteers softball team. The announcement was made during the program’s end-of-season awards ceremony, where Pickens also received a prestigious individual award for excellence in collegiate athletics.

 

A standout pitcher for the Lady Vols, Pickens delivered an unforgettable performance throughout the 2025 season, becoming a pillar of strength for the team. Her consistent dominance in the circle helped lead Tennessee to a deep postseason run and reinforced her reputation as one of the top pitchers in the nation.
