Coach Rhonda Revelle has been honored as College Softball’s 2025 Philanthropy Icon, celebrated for her profound humanitarian work, life-changing outreach, and the generous efforts of the Rhonda Revelle Family Foundation in supporting communities.

In a moment of well-deserved recognition, Nebraska Cornhusker Softball Head Coach Rhonda Revelle has been named College Softball’s 2025 Philanthropy Icon. This prestigious honor celebrates her extraordinary contributions beyond the diamond — recognizing a lifetime of compassion, generosity, and community-driven impact.

Revelle, one of the most respected figures in college softball, has long been known for her leadership on the field. But it’s her unwavering commitment to humanitarian work through the Rhonda Revelle Family Foundation that has now taken center stage. The foundation, founded by Revelle and her family, focuses on supporting underserved communities, empowering youth, and improving access to education and wellness resources across Nebraska and beyond.

“This recognition is not just about me — it’s about the power of community and the belief that we can all do something to make a difference,” Revelle said. “Softball gave me a platform, and I’ve always felt a responsibility to use it for good.”

The selection committee praised Revelle’s hands-on involvement in initiatives ranging from mentorship programs and youth sports clinics to food security drives and scholarship opportunities for at-risk students.

“She exemplifies what it means to lead with heart,” said one committee member. “Her foundation doesn’t just donate — it uplifts, empowers, and transforms lives.”

Revelle, who has led the Huskers for over three decades, continues to inspire both on and off the field. Her ability to combine competitive excellence with deep community compassion has set a standard few can match.

As the 2025 season approaches, Revelle’s legacy grows far beyond wins and losses. She’s proving that true leadership isn’t just measured in trophies — it’s measured in lives changed.
