Indiana men’s basketball is making serious waves on the national stage once again, as head coach Mike Woodson has officially secured a top-10 recruiting class for 2025. The Hoosiers’ incoming group, ranked No. 7 nationally by multiple recruiting services, features a dynamic mix of size, skill, and star power that has IU fans buzzing with anticipation.
Leading the class is five-star guard Jasper Johnson, who recently made headlines by flipping his commitment from Kentucky to Indiana. Johnson, a top-10 national prospect, brings elite scoring ability, sharp playmaking, and leadership qualities that could make him an immediate star in Bloomington.
Joining Johnson are four-star wing Terrance Bell, a versatile defender and slasher out of Illinois, and big man Carter Wilkins, a 6-foot-10 center known for his rebounding and shot-blocking presence. Rounding out the class is point guard Malik Thompson, a crafty floor general with a high basketball IQ and a strong perimeter shot.
“This class fits everything we’re building here at Indiana,” Woodson said. “They’re talented, tough, and hungry to win. Most importantly, they want to be part of something bigger than themselves.”
The strong recruiting haul is a major statement for Woodson, who is entering his fifth season at the helm and looking to return Indiana to consistent national contention. After a season that saw flashes of promise but fell short of expectations, the 2025 class signals a fresh wave of momentum.
