CONGRATULATIONS: FSU Standout Overall Prospect Isa Torres Named has been Recognized as the Greatest Women basketball MVP receiving a Prestigious Award….

Florida State University standout Isa Torres has been officially recognized as the Greatest Women’s Basketball MVP, earning one of the most prestigious awards in collegiate athletics. The announcement came after a record-breaking season that saw Torres dominate on the court and inspire a generation off of it.

The honor, awarded by the National Women’s Basketball Association of Collegiate Sports (NWBACS), places Torres in elite company and marks a historic moment for FSU’s basketball program. Averaging 27.4 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 7.6 assists per game this season, Torres not only led the Seminoles to a championship run but also set multiple program records in scoring and playmaking.

“This award isn’t just about my stats,” Torres said during the award ceremony. “It’s about the journey, the team, and everyone who believed in me. I’m incredibly honored.”

Described by coaches and analysts as a “once-in-a-generation player,” Torres’s ability to lead under pressure and uplift her teammates has become the hallmark of her collegiate career. Her leadership both on and off the court has garnered respect nationwide, as she has consistently used her platform to advocate for women’s sports and mental health awareness.

FSU Head Coach Carla Henderson praised Torres’s impact: “Isa is a phenomenal athlete and an even better person. Her work ethic, heart, and humility make her truly deserving of this award.”

With this recognition, Torres cements her legacy not just at FSU, but in the history of women’s basketball. As the sports world watches, many are already speculating about her professional future — and if her college career is any indication, it’s bound to be legendary.
