BREAKING LIVE: Nelly Korda Enters Guinness World Record as the……….

Nelly Korda and the reigning Olympic champion Lydia Ko will tee off at the lone annual LPGA Tour event in South Korea later this month, tournament organizers said Wednesday.Officials for the Oct. 17-20 BMW Ladies Championship said Korda will play for the second straight year at Seowon Hills at Seowon Valley Country Club in Paju, Gyeonggi Province. The American star leads the tour this season with six victories, including her second career major victory at the Chevron Championship in April.

All six of Korda’s victories came in the first half of the year, a run that included four consecutive victories. Ko, a Korean-born Kiwi ranked third in the world, has been one of the hottest players in the latter portion of the season, winning the gold medal at the Paris Olympics and then her third major title at the AIG Women’s Open in August, before adding another title in September.

The South Korean contingent will include Amy Yang, who won her maiden major title at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in June, and Ryu Hae-ran, the inaugural winner of the FM Championship earlier this month.

Two other major champions from this season, Yuka Saso and Ayaka Furue of Japan, will also play at the BMW event. Korda’s historic run will continue as she prepares for the upcoming BMW Ladies Championship, set to be held from October 17-20 at Seowon Hills, Seowon Valley Country Club in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It will be her second consecutive year competing at the event.
