The Arkansas Razorbacks men’s basketball team extended their winning streak to five games with a resounding 95-67 victory over North Carolina A&T on December 21, 2024. The game, held at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, showcased the Razorbacks’ offensive and defensive prowess as they improved their season record to an impressive 10-2.
Junior forward Jonas Aidoo delivered a standout performance, recording a season-high 17 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocks, marking his third double-double of the season. Guard Boogie Fland added another dimension to the Razorbacks’ game with his own double-double, tallying 12 points and a career-best 11 assists. Sophomore guard Adou Thiero also made a significant impact, contributing 14 points and solid defense throughout the game.
From the outset, Arkansas established control with an early 12-2 run, capitalizing on sharp shooting and aggressive play. The Razorbacks shot 54% from the field, including an impressive 42% from beyond the arc. Their defensive intensity was equally evident, forcing 18 turnovers and limiting North Carolina A&T to just 35% shooting overall.
Head coach Eric Musselman praised the team’s balanced effort, highlighting their ability to share the ball and maintain high energy on defense. “The chemistry is building, and we’re seeing contributions from every player on the roster,” Musselman said in a post-game interview.
