Florida State Seminoles football has added a major piece to its 2025 recruiting class with the official signing of Chastan Brown, a highly-rated offensive lineman from Warner Robbins, Georgia. Brown, a 6-foot-7, 270-pound standout, had been a top priority for the Seminoles’ coaching staff, and his commitment solidifies Florida State’s efforts to bolster its offensive line for the future.
Originally committed to UCF, Brown reopened his recruitment late in the process, drawing interest from multiple Power Five programs. However, after an official visit to Tallahassee, he ultimately chose the Seminoles over offers from Miami, Auburn, and South Carolina.
“Florida State felt like home,” Brown said during his signing ceremony. “The coaches believe in my potential, and I see myself thriving in their system.”
Brown’s size and athleticism make him an ideal fit for Florida State’s offensive scheme. With quick footwork, strong pass-blocking skills, and an aggressive mentality in the run game, he is expected to compete for early playing time.
